It engages with its audience and prompts them to make difficult choices in an apocalypse setting. The creators Katrina Abbott, Nathan Garthwaite, Lauren Gessel, and Nick Hissrich worked to create this experience with tools like Unity, Blender, and Isadora.

"Amelia: Heart and Soul"
This is a solo work that was submited into The Ohio State Senior Exhibiton in the Autumn 2024 semester. It is a moving robotic sculpture that relates back to the personal experience of Lauren Gessel, presented in an abstract way. Creating "The Wendigo"

It takes on the form of the natural fauna and trasnforms it into a more vile and bloodthirsty creature. The model takes on a modern representation of the tales. This work was made to push Lauren Gessel's ability and understanding on the Cinema 4D Application.

"The Last Explorer"
This work is Lauren Gessel's first large scale robotics peice, featuring a 4 feet by 4 feet field and a robotic lizard. The field is filled with trash and set to look like an apocalyptic trash site. The lizard exists within the space and moves its limbs back and forth as its movement, its head constantly searching. The work challenges the idea of life on earth after it becomes uninhabitable by organic forms. The robotic creations of humanity that exist beyond the conditions we could bare. That making it the last explorer of Earth, searching for whatever its code decided it would.
